Emerging from the vibrant traditional music scene of Glasgow, Lussa is an upcoming four-piece folk band. Creating fresh, spirited arrangements of both original and traditional tunes, their infectious
energy and joyful sound have captivated audiences in both large and intimate venues.
After their outstanding debut on the 2024 Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Open Stage, Lussa returned in 2025 as finalists of the Hands Up for Trad: Battle of the Folk Bands competition.
Lussa released their highly anticipated debut singles, “Lussa Reels” and “McMillan’s” in 2025, and were nominated for Up and Coming Artist of the Year at the Scottish Trad Awards.
