Terms & Conditions

  1. Fresh Ayr Folk Fest reserves the right to add, remove or vary artists, and to alter the published programme without liability.
  2. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age. No entry to unaccompanied children.
  3. The maximum number of children per adult over 21 is three, unless with the express written consent of the festival.
  4. The festival reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a ticket holder from the venue for anything deemed dangerous or inappropriate behaviour.
  5. ONLY assistance animals are allowed in the festival venues.
  6. No alcohol is permitted to be brought in to the festival venues by ticket holders.
  7. We operate a zero tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found to be in possession or involved in illegal activity will be ejected from the venues and handed over to the Police immediately with no refund given.
  8. There may be bag searches on entry. Anyone refusing searches will not be permitted entry to the venues, with no claim for refunds.
  9. The Festival reserves the right to make changes to the artists, time, date, duration and venue of the festival in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including (but without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority.
  10. In the event of cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded; only the ticket’s face value.
  11. All tickets are sold subject to licensing.
  12. Tickets are purchased through our ticket partner Festival Pro. Fresh Ayr Folk Fest CIC has no access to any secure information relating to payment details.
  13. Non-transferable wristbands where appropriate will be given on production of valid e-ticket.
  14. Wristbands cannot be exchanged, transferred, re-sold, or re-issued.
  15. Concession tickets are available to those adults in Full-time education and those receiving Adult Disability Payment (ADP), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). Proof of status or eligibility may be requested at wristband exchange.
  16. Proof of age may be requested at wristband exchange or any of the bars.
  17. The Festival operates a Challenge 25 policy across all its festival bars.
  18. By entering the festival venues you agree to grant the Festival permission to use your image in any publicity, marketing or promotional materials.
  19. Filming and Photography is allowed throughout the public site for personal use; please observe data protection law.
  20. Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The organisers and Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.
  21. Tickets are not refundable or transferable to another year/event.
  22. The terms & conditions are subject to amendment without notification.
