Terms & Conditions

  • Fresh Ayr Folk Fest reserves the right to add, remove or vary artists, and to alter the published programme without liability.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age. No entry to unaccompanied children.
  • The maximum number of children per adult over 21 is three, unless with the express written consent of the Festival.
  • The Festival reserves the right to refuse admission or remove a ticket holder from the site for anything deemed dangerous or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Glass containers are NOT permitted on the Festival site.
  • ONLY assistance animals are allowed on the Festival site (the area with the stages, bars, activities). Other pets are allowed on the campsite and car park, but must be on leads/leashes and under control at all times.
  • No alcohol is permitted to be brought on to the Festival site by ticket holders.
  • Open Fires (including barbecues) are strictly prohibited throughout the Festival site and campsite.
  • We operate a zero tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found to be in possession or involved in illegal activity will be ejected from the site and handed over to the Police immediately with no refund given.
  • There may be bag searches on entry. Anyone refusing searches will not be permitted entry to the site, with no claim for refunds.
  • The Festival reserves the right to make changes to the artists, time, date, duration and venue of the Festival in the event of unforeseen or other circumstances, including (but without limitation) Force Majeure, safety and security concerns or decisions from authorised persons or other competent authority.
  • In the event of cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded; only the ticket’s face value.
  • All tickets are sold subject to licensing.
  • Tickets are purchased through our ticket partner Festival Pro. Fresh Ayr Folk Fest CIC has no access to any secure information relating to payment details.
  • Tickets and deposits are not refundable or transferable to another year/event.
  • Non-transferable wristbands will be given on production of valid e-ticket.
  • Wristbands cannot be exchanged, transferred, re-sold, or re-issued.
  • Concession tickets are available to those adults in Full-time education and those receiving Adult Disability Payment (ADP), Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Job Seekers Allowance (JSA) or Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). Proof of status or eligibility may be requested at wristband exchange.
  • Complimentary Carers’ tickets can only selected in conjunction with a valid paid ticket in the case of adults or youths, or a valid free ticket for under 12s. Proof of status or eligibility may be required at wristband exchange.
  • Proof of age may be requested at wristband exchange or any of the bars.
  • The Festival operates a Challenge 25 policy across all its Festival bars.
  • Festival Campsite pitches are only available to full weekend ticket holders.
  • Please check the Festival website for campsite opening times.
  • Gazebos and additional shelters are not permitted.
  • Camping pitches are located a 3 minute walk from the car park. Cars are not permitted in the tented area.
  • Live-in vehicles will be located a short distance from the main car park, and are not permitted in the car park.
  • All camping (tented or live-in vehicles) will have access to showers and posh loos.
  • The Festival Car Park is for the use of Festival attendees only.
  • All vehicles parked and tents pitched at the owner’s own risk.
  • By entering the Festival site you agree to grant the Festival permission to use your image in any publicity, marketing or promotional materials.
  • Filming and Photography is allowed throughout the public site for personal use; please observe data protection law.
  • Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk. The organisers and Premises Licence Holder will not be held liable for any loss, injuries or damages sustained at the event including damage, theft or losses to property and motor vehicles, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or third parties.
  • The terms & conditions are subject to amendment without notification.
