Quite possibly the best line-up of in-person workshops you’re likely to see at a music festival, we have workshops on everything from composing tunes to playing guitar in sessions, and from technique on whistle to Shetland tunes on fiddle…

All tutors are themselves performing throughout out the festival so why not learn from the masters themselves before they appear on stage.

Below is the list of workshops available. All are limited to 15 places per workshop, and are priced at an incredible £10 per hour long workshop!

Workshops

A Very Limited Number of spaces will be available for each workshop. These will be sold on a first come first served basis, and are likely to be snapped up.

All Workshops will take place in Ayr Town Hall.

Please be at the Townhall 10 minutes before the workshop is due to start.

1pm-2pm Voice Sean Gray Ayrshire Songs in Lallans Scots
2.30pm-3.30pm All/Fiddle Kevin Henderson Traditional Shetland Tunes. Open to all melody instruments but with emphasis on Fiddle

2.30pm-3.30pm Voice Maggie MacInnes An Introduction to the Gaelic Songs of Barra (open to all even if no experience of Gaelic)
